Find Your Plans LLC ("Provider," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website selffinder.co and the Self Finder brand (collectively, the "Site"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information ("Information") when you use our Site and services. Find Your Plans LLC is the data controller of your Information in the context of the Site.

By visiting the Site, you agree that your Information will be handled as described in this Policy. Our Terms & Conditions are incorporated by reference into this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information - your email address and name when you create an account
  • Quiz responses - your answers to the 48-question narcissism assessment
  • Payment information - billing details processed securely through Stripe (we never store your full card number)
  • Communications - messages you send to our support team

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser information - browser type, operating system, screen resolution, device type
  • Usage data - pages visited, quiz completion status, interactions with our service, clickstream data
  • Geolocation data - approximate location (city/country level) based on your IP address
  • Cookies and tracking technologies - used through Google Tag Manager for analytics and advertising (see Section 5 below)

Information from Third Parties

If you access our Site through a third-party login or social media platform, we may receive basic profile information such as your name and email address, subject to that platform's privacy settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your Information for the following purposes:

  • Operate our service - generate your personalized narcissism report based on your quiz responses, manage your account, and respond to your requests
  • Process payments - manage your subscription and process transactions through Stripe
  • Communications - send transactional emails (account confirmation, purchase receipts) and marketing emails about your results and related content
  • Analytics - analyze usage patterns to improve our service, content, and user experience
  • Advertising - measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and deliver relevant content
  • Security - prevent fraud, detect abuse, and maintain the security of our service
  • Legal compliance - comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all sensitive payment data according to their privacy policy.

Our pricing is $1.95 for a 7-day full access trial, which automatically renews at $29.95 per month unless you cancel before the trial period ends. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

4. Email Marketing

We use Klaviyo to send marketing emails. When you create an account, you may receive emails related to your quiz results, personalized content, and product updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and we will stop sending marketing emails within 10 business days of your request. Transactional emails (like purchase confirmations) are not affected by unsubscribe requests.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use Google Tag Manager to manage tracking technologies on our Site. These technologies help us understand how visitors use our Site and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

Types of Tracking Technologies

  • Necessary cookies - required for basic Site functionality, such as maintaining your session and shopping cart. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies - help us understand Site usage (e.g., Google Analytics). These collect data such as pages visited, time on site, and navigation paths.
  • Advertising cookies - used to deliver relevant ads and measure campaign performance (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads). These may track your activity across other websites.

Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. However, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law.

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate our platform. Each processes only the minimum information necessary:

  • Supabase - database hosting and authentication
  • Vercel - website hosting and deployment

  • Google BigQuery - analytics data storage
  • Google Tag Manager - tag management and analytics

Advertising Partners

We work with advertising networks including Meta (Facebook) and Google Ads. These partners may receive interaction data through pixels and cookies on our Site to measure ad performance and deliver relevant advertising. This sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state laws (see Section 9 - California Residents).

Legal and Safety

We may disclose your Information if we believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • Enforce our Terms & Conditions or protect our rights
  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
  • Protect the safety of our users or the public

Business Transfers

If Find Your Plans LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your Information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the new entity follows this Policy with respect to your Information.

Aggregate and De-Identified Data

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you for research, analytics, or other purposes.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure, encrypted databases hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data and quiz results for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days in case you decide to reactivate. After that, your data is permanently deleted.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing help@selffinder.co. We will process your request within 30 days. Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention and recordkeeping).

9. California Residents - Your Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. This section describes those rights and how to exercise them.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect

  • Identifiers - name, email address, IP address, account name
  • Customer records - name, address, payment information
  • Commercial information - purchase history, subscription status
  • Internet activity - browsing history, search history, interaction data
  • Geolocation data - approximate location based on IP address
  • Inferences - personality assessment results and type profiles derived from quiz responses

Your CCPA Rights

As a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Right to Know - request what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold about you in the prior 12 months
  • Right to Delete - request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing - direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information. Because our use of advertising pixels (Meta, Google) may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA, you may opt out by emailing us.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination - we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a request, email us at help@selffinder.co with the subject line "CCPA Request." We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may make up to two requests per 12-month period at no charge.

Financial Incentives

We do not currently offer any financial incentives or price differences in exchange for the collection, retention, or sale of your personal information.

10. Children's Privacy

Self Finder is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at help@selffinder.co and we will delete that information from our systems.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and post the revised Policy on our Site. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
