Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") set forth the legal agreement between Find Your Plans LLC ("Provider," "we," or "us") and you ("User," "you," or "your") regarding your access to and use of the Self Finder website at selffinder.co and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

THESE TERMS CONTAIN AN ARBITRATION PROVISION AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER (SEE SECTION 13). BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION, AND YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

Please read this carefully. Self Finder provides personality assessments for educational and self-awareness purposes only. Our service is not a substitute for professional mental health evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Specifically:

  • Our quizzes and reports do not provide medical or psychological advice.
  • Our assessments are not validated clinical instruments and should not be regarded as comprehensive or definitive opinions about your psychological well-being.
  • If you are experiencing mental health concerns, consult a qualified mental health professional.
  • Any decisions you make based on your results are your own. We are not liable for the consequences of those decisions.
  • Our service is for personal use only and is not intended for use in any employment, recruitment, or clinical context.

2. Service Description

Self Finder provides an online narcissism assessment consisting of a 48-question quiz, personalized results report, type analysis, personalized ebook, and related educational content. We may modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When you do, you agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials and not share your account with others
  • Notify us immediately at help@selffinder.co of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we suspect a violation of these Terms or any unauthorized use.

4. Subscription and Billing

Access to your quiz results and full report requires a paid subscription. Our pricing is as follows:

  • Trial period - $1.95 for 7 days of full access to all features
  • After trial - automatically renews at $29.95 per month
  • Billing - all payments are processed through Stripe using the payment method you provide at checkout

By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for the trial period and all subsequent renewal periods until you cancel. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You are responsible for all charges incurred through your account, including applicable taxes.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we change the price for your subscription, we will notify you in advance and provide you an opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on our website, or by contacting us at help@selffinder.co.

When you cancel:

  • You will retain access to your account and results until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after your current period ends
  • If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged the recurring subscription fee

6. Refund Policy

If you would like a refund, please contact our support team at help@selffinder.co within 14 days of purchase and include why you are requesting a refund. Please use the email address associated with your account so we can locate it. Refunds are provided at our discretion.

Important Refund Notes:

  • Credit Card Disputes: If you dispute the charge with your bank, we cannot process a refund, and resolution could take several months. Please allow us the chance to assist you directly by contacting help@selffinder.co first.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • We do not offer refunds for transactions older than 14 days.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Self Finder - including the quiz questions, scoring methodology, report content, type profiles, ebooks, illustrations, and website design - is our proprietary intellectual property or the intellectual property of our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Your personalized report and ebook are generated for your personal use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit your quiz results, report content, or ebook.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Use automated software, bots, scrapers, or other tools to access, collect data from, or interact with the Service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any party
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts
  • Use the Service to transmit any harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Use the Service or its content for any commercial purpose without our express written consent

We reserve the right to terminate your account and access to the Service for violations of this section, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

9. User Content

If you share, post, or otherwise make available any content through the Service (such as reviews, testimonials, or shared results), you retain ownership of that content. However, by making it available, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Service and our business.

You represent and warrant that any content you provide is accurate and does not violate any third party's rights. We reserve the right to remove any user content at our sole discretion.

10. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Find Your Plans LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of or access to the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law; or (d) any content you make available through the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE CONTENT ON THE SERVICE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIND YOUR PLANS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE BASIS OF THE CLAIM AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court.

Informal Resolution First

Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at help@selffinder.co. Please include a description of the dispute and the resolution you are seeking. We will attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 60 days of receipt. Neither party shall initiate legal action until this 60-day period has elapsed.

Binding Arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration pursuant to the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, on an individual basis. The arbitrator shall be a retired judge or attorney with substantial experience in internet and technology disputes and shall follow Wyoming substantive law.

  • The arbitration shall be conducted in Sheridan, Wyoming, or, for claims under $10,000, by telephone or video conference at your election.
  • For non-frivolous claims, Find Your Plans LLC will pay the JAMS filing and arbitration fees.
  • The arbitrator may award any relief that a court could award, including injunctive relief.
  • Judgment upon the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AND FIND YOUR PLANS LLC AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT OTHERWISE PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Exceptions

This arbitration provision does not apply to: (a) disputes relating to the enforcement or validity of our intellectual property rights; or (b) claims that qualify for small claims court in your jurisdiction.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of the arbitration provision in Section 13. In any circumstances where these Terms permit litigation in court, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.

15. Electronic Communications

By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including via email and notices posted on the Site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

16. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

17. Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that any content on our Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to help@selffinder.co with: (a) a description of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on our Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

19. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and provide notice via email or a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must stop using the Service.
